In 1999, GyZmo joined the CR Junglist Crew, a prominent Drum and Bass collective in Costa Rica, recognized as one of the leading crews in Latin America. His influence continued to grow, and in 2010, he founded tamborybajo.org, a Latin American Bass Music portal that evolved into a DJ & Producer crew in 2015.
GyZmo’s presence has been felt on the international stage at notable festivals, including Bass Alliance 2012 in Guatemala and InBassion 2018 in Honduras. Domestically, he has been a key performer at major events such as “Somos Libres 2,” Bamboo Bass Festival at Jaco Beach, and Chepe Joven 2022, where he performed for over 4,000 fans.
GyZmo’s work has been featured on various Costa Rican radio stations, including OK!, Beatz FM, and 979. His productions have also garnered attention from UK radio stations like Spark FM, further expanding his global reach.
